Premises
The Cruthú premises is situated in the courtyard adjacent to the public entrance to Russborough House. Cruthú Art Group is part of an artisan community who have set up studios at Russborough since 2009. Our neighbour artisans include: Blacksmiths, Wood Turner, Bog Oak Artist, Weaver, Candle-maker & Ceramicist.
Funded and renovated by the efforts of Cruthú members, the premises has been open to the public since 2010 (see opening hours below).
The art gallery gives members an opportunity to display their work which encompasses a wide variety of art, craft and photography.
When we are not open to the public, the space is available for use by members for studio work or in house workshops and meetings.
Cruthú artists have enjoyed meeting visitors and it would seem there are very many like-minded artistic souls out there who are attracted by the idea of membership of a group such as Cruthú.
